TRAVEL
A large part of my personal, professional, and academic life includes travel experience.
FRENCH EXCHANGE
As a junior in high school, I had the opportunity to host a student from Le Havre, France in my home in Buffalo, New York for two weeks. I then flew to Paris and spent three weeks traveling throughout various cities and towns in Normandy. During this time I was immersed in a new and exciting culture that opened my eyes to cultural perspectives much different than the ones I grew up with.
BOSTON IMMERSION
In May 2019, I spent four days with other students at Syracuse University visiting companies in Boston, MA. On this trip we not only learned what its like to work at these companies but we also made invaluable contacts and had the chance to meet other SU graduates pursuing their career goals.
LONDON STUDY ABROAD
During my spring 2020 semester, I lived in London with SU Study Abroad. While my program was, unfortunately, cut short due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the time I spent abroad was immeasurable in its positive contributions to my life. I took courses in the business of London nightlife, the history of London, politics & the media, as well as sports in the United Kingdom. Additionally, I took advantage of my European location and traveled to Barcelona, Copenhagen, Prague, and Amsterdam during my time abroad.
